Active Walk Way 3rd & 4th Class
Today we took our Maths lesson outside and complete the 2D activity on our active walk! What a fun way to identify the properties of 2D whilst being active 🏃♀️🏃♂️

Bike Week
Bike Week Part 2:
Today we took our bikes for a cycle around the school grounds to practice all the tips and skills we learned yesterday from @Bikegreen_ie! What a fun few days we’ve had! More to come tomorrow.
Active Easter
Hoppy Easter Today we turned our Active Walk Way into an Easter hunt trail ! Thankfully the Easter bunny dropped some eggs along the way.
Run Around Europe 2024
We are loving our RUN AROUND EUROPE active challenge! Each class has picked a different country as their goal The race is on to see which class will reach their country first.
Run Around Europe Week 1
- Junior & Senior Infants are running to Spain.
- 1st & 2nd – Belgium (they’ve reached their goal!).
- 3rd & 4th – France.
- 5th & 6th Norway Keep up the good work everyone, we’ll get there in no time.
This week marks the end of our Active School challenge. The children made great progress over the weeks and reached many of the capital cities ! An excellent achievement well done everyone.
4 Week Challenge WEEK 4
We have completed our 4 week challenge! We have definitely seen great improvements in our overall health and well being, we will continue to engage in an active break each day even when the challenge is over.

Even with the Bank Holiday and heavy snow, we managed to complete a range of active tasks this week.

Each day we make being active fun, by coming up with new games to play!

Week 1 complete Each day each class completed an active challenge. We really enjoyed it this week and we are motivated to keep going for the remaining 3 weeks! Well done everyone for getting involved
Active Halloween
Active Walk Way
We turned our Active Walk Way into a spooky walk way.
Thank you 5th & 6th Class for creating an exciting Halloween experience for all of Junior & Senior Infants, although I think the teacher may have gotten a bigger fright!
Halloween Disco
We enjoyed a whole school dance party. There were Halloween songs and some spooky characters showed off their best moves! We had a great time.
Active Line
Mark, Iris, Liam and Jamie from our Active School Committe always do a great job at encouraging us to keep active during break time!
